John - President, leed Ap
Originally from Kingsport, TN, John moved to Charleston, SC in 2007 with the goal of starting his own development company with a focus on sustainability. John worked with Four Square Partners in Kiawah Island, SC before incorporating EcoBilt in June 2008. Prior to this, John spent four years with Credit Agricole in New York, NY as a part of their international equity trading team; he also spent two years with Corporate Executive Board in Washington, DC in their business development division. John holds a BA in Economics from Hampden-Sydney College, and an MBA in Finance from Vanderbilt University.
Alec - project manager
Alec is from Charlotte, NC but now calls Charleston home. Alec received a degree from North Carolina State University in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management with a concentration in Natural Resource Management. While pursuing his degree, he worked as an assistant project and sales manager at Legacy Custom Homes in Raleigh, NC. While there, Alec was involved with implementing ENERGY STAR components into new energy efficient homes. He also interned with The Conservation Fund in Chapel Hill, NC and worked closely with the Rosenwald School Foundation in the rehabilitation efforts for a school house in Columbia, NC
